Hello!

I'm Jason, the admin for this forum and website. I'm fairly new with Longmont Stampers, but was requested if I could help out with creating this website for the club.

I've been collecting stamps since a young age, around 6 or so. I remember the day that my parents bought 2 bags of stamps, dumped them out on our coffee table and told my brother and myself to divide them up. My family on both sides collect stamps. My main collection has roots in a multi-generation collection reaching back to my Grandpa's Grandpa. My grandpa told me about his memories of sitting in the basement of his grandpa's home, working on stamps with him. I know my grandpa's grandpa first cousin side of the family also collected in Europe all the way to modern times. I also would get stamps from them from Scandinavia, Hungary, and Germany when I was a kid. Mainly few envelopes shoved full of stamps couple times of year. I've inherited my Grandpa's grandpa, grandpa, grandparents from other side, and numerous uncles collections. With so much collecting in my family, it's always difficult to say what I collect, other than saying "Yes".

My main collections is US Collection, World Collection, Notopfer Stamps (German, also called the "Blue Flea"), World Space Stamps, and US Space Stamps. The US Space Stamps is my largest passion project since it's different from any other collection I've inherited through the years, I enjoy space topics, certified for high power rocketry, and done allot related to such topics.
