Classic stamp story

Recently I won a Scott #113 stamp on a no-reserve auction, which after shipping was just over $9. For easily $90 or more stamp for it condition I was quite happy with the score. Once I got it, I checked the stamp, and cut and placed the stamp in a mount right away. I kept it with the paperwork so I can record it on EZStamp catalog program I use and add it into my album. Later, my dog (a boxer), heard a knock and decided to go Koolaid man through my desk area taking monitors and such with it (brat scratched one of my large screens....). I cleaned up the mess.

The next day, I saw our new puppy chewing on a mount. I thought, oh, just trim might have dropped from all the stamps I've working on. Went and took it from him and noticed it was a 22mm mount, nicely cut a size of a stamp.

Yep, I checked all over, no stamp. The stamp got knocked off the desk from everything else. And my puppy ate my stamp!
